Receive email alerts based on different events within your account.

Introduction

OddBytes' Alerts are a great way to stay up to date on important events that occur in your OddBytes account! With Alert Subscriptions, you can choose which events are relevant to you and when those events occur, you will receive an email alert so you can quickly react.

Alert Options

OBP offers the following events which you can be alerted on:

  • Creative Approved: Receive an alert when any of your Creatives are approved and are eligible to receive traffic.

  • Creative Rejected: Receive an alert when any of your Creatives have been rejected and are not eligible to receive traffic. Please fix the Creative(s) and resubmit for approval. For more information as to why a Creative would be rejected, please click here.

  • Max View/Click Cap Reached: Receive an alert when any of your Creatives reach their click or view caps. Once this cap is reached, the Creative(s) will go offline for the remaining part of the day unless the cap is increased or removed.

  • Creative Total Budget Cap Reached: Receive an alert when any of your Creatives reach their total budget cap. Once this cap is reached, the Creative(s) will go offline indefinitely until the cap is increased or removed.

  • CPA Optimizer Conditions Met: Receive an alert when a Campaign/Creative has met the required conditions for the CPA Optimizer to be enabled. To begin using the CPA Optimizer, please enable on the Campaign/Creative level.

  • Campaign Daily Budget Cap Reached: Receive an alert when any of your Campaigns reach their daily budget cap. Once this cap is reached, the Campaign(s) will go offline for the remaining part of the day unless the cap is increased or removed.

  • Creative End Date Reached: Receive an alert when any of your Creatives reach their end date. Once this cap is reached, the Creative(s) will go offline indefinitely until the end date is extended or removed.

  • Creative Daily Budget Cap Reached: Receive an alert when any of your Creatives reach their daily budget cap. Once this cap is reached, the Creative(s) will go offline for the remaining part of the day unless the cap is increased or removed.

  • Campaign Total Budget Cap Reached: Receive an alert when any of your Campaigns reach their total budget cap. Once this cap is reached, the Campaign(s) will go offline indefinitely until the cap is increased or removed.

  • Backup URL Active: Receive an alert when your Creative(s) are actively using/serving traffic to a Backup URL. To learn more about Backup URLs, please click here.

Subscribing to Alerts

To subscribe to any alerts, please complete the following steps:

  1. On the left side navigation bar, click on 'General Settings' under the 'Settings' section.

  2. Under the 'Users' list, find your specific email/user.

  3. Click the down arrow icon to the left of your user to expand the row.

  4. Within the 'Alert Settings' section, toggle from OFF to ON to enable the alerts for your user.

  5. Select the alerts you wish to subscribe to.

    1. If you ever wish to unsubscribe from specific alerts, you can uncheck the boxes in this same location.

    2. If you wish to unsubscribe to all alerts, toggle from ON to OFF.
