Introduction

Our Main Report gives advertisers the ability to pull various performance metrics on an Account, Campaign, Creative and/or Keyword level for a specified date range. Compared to reporting which can be generated in the Campaigns section, the Main Report can be broken down and filtered at much more granular levels, including placements (referring domains, browsers, geos, etc.). This reporting will help with analysis to both optimize and scale Campaigns.

If you would like to compare metrics from two different timeframes, please click here for more information.

Report Generation (Without Applied Filters)

  1. Open the navigation panel on the left side of the interface and select 'Main Report' from the 'Reports' section.

  2. Choose the timeframe to use for the report by selecting the date range, timezone and breakdown you would like to use by using the date picker.

    1. The default timezone is Los Angeles (PST). OddBytes serves all ads on this timezone, but reporting can be adjusted to better match against any 3rd party system's timezone.

    2. The 'Discreet' breakdown option will provide all aggregated stats for each hour, while the 'Hourly' option will provide stats for each hour and each day selected. These two options are only available for shorter timeframes.

    3. Using 'Compare Options' will allow you to compare to timeframes within this report. Click here for instructions on how to do so.

  3. Select how to break up the data under 'Break By Metrics':

    • Creative (Note: Selection is not required. If nothing is selected, the report generated will aggregate all Campaigns, Creatives and Keyword data for whatever metric(s) are selected.):

      1. Campaign - Data will be broken down by Campaign only.

      2. Creative - Data will be broken down by Campaign and Creative.

      3. Keyword - Data will be broken down by Campaign, Creative and Keyword.

    • Placement (Note: Selection is not required.):

      1. Targeted Domain - Domains provided will be the domain(s) which is targeted by the Keyword set.

      2. Served Domain - Domains provided will the domains(s) which triggered the ad to be served.

        1. These domain(s) may or may not be the same as the Targeted Domain list.

      3. Please Note: Targeted vs. Served Domains occur due to our Delayed Targeting configuration. More information regarding Delayed Targeting can be found here.

    • Targeting (Note: Selection is not required.):

      1. OS - Data provided will be broken down by Operating System.

      2. Browser - Data provided will be broken down by Browser.

      3. Country - Data provided will be broken down by Country.

      4. State - Data provided will be broken down by State.

      5. DMA - Data provided will be broken down by DMA.

      6. Zip - Data provided will be broken down by Zip Code.

  4. Select Pixel(s) to be used in the 'Break By Column'.

    1. If no pixel is selected, but multiple pixels are used, conversions will be an aggregate of all pixels.

    2. If multiple pixels are selected, each pixel will have its own rows of data.

    3. If only one pixel is used in the account, this selection step is not required.

  5. Click 'Generate' to begin report generation.
