Introduction

In order to begin serving ads on the OddBytes Platform, your account must be funded. Funding can be done easily through the interface by following the wizard provided within the platform.

Adding Funds from a New Credit Card

Using a credit card to add funds can be done in a couple of different ways.

  1. Open the navigation panel on the left side of the interface and select "Fund Your Account" from the "Funding and Finance" section.
    ​Tip: This wizard can also be launched by navigating to the "Credit Cards & Funding" page in the "Funding and Finance" section and then selecting "Add funds and funding sources" in the bottom right corner of the page.

  2. In the first step of the wizard, enter the contact information associated with the credit card you wish to use for the funding.

  3. In step two, enter the credit card information and the amount you wish to fund to the account. Once finished, click "Charge Credit Card" to proceed to the next step.
    ​Tip: If you wish to save this credit card for future funding, ensure that the checkbox marked "Add credit card to funding sources" is checked and a name is assigned.

  4. The system will run the charge on the specified credit card. It is important that this window is not closed during the charging process. Once the charge has been completed, a success message will appear. This message indicates the charge was successful and the window can now be closed.

Adding Funds from a Previously Saved Credit Card

  1. Open the navigation panel on the left side of the interface and select "Credit Cards & Funding" from the "Funding and Finance" section.

  2. Select the card you wish to add funds from by clicking on the row to expand its options.

  3. Select the "Funding Wizard" option.

  4. Enter the amount you wish to fund and the verification code associated with the credit card chosen then click Next.

  5. Verify the information is correct and click "Charge Credit Card"
    ​Tip: You may be requested to sign authorization documents in order to process the transaction. If so, you will receive an email outlining the steps required.

Editing/Removing a Saved Credit Card

  1. Open the navigation panel on the left side of the interface and select "Credit Cards & Funding" from the "Funding and Finance" section.

  2. Select the card you wish to edit/remove by clicking on the row to expand its options.

  3. To edit the card information, select Edit Credit Card and follow the wizard to make the necessary changes.

  4. To remove the card from the system, click on the red trash bin icon in the Remove Credit Card row

Sharing a Credit Card with Other Users on your Account

Once a card is stored in the system, you can choose to share it with other members of your organization so they can add funds to the account from the card as well.

  1. Open the navigation panel on the left side of the interface and select "Credit Cards & Funding" from the "Funding and Finance" section.

  2. Select the card you wish to share with other team members by clicking on the row to expand its options.

  3. Locate the section labeled "Credit Card Options".

  4. Click on the dropdown and select the user you wish to share the card with. Once selected, click "Add User".

Reviewing Transaction Activity

To review the historical funding activity associated with your account, open the navigation panel on the left side of the interface and select "Credit Cards & Funding" from the "Funding and Finance" section. On this page is a table showing all previous funding transactions associated with your account.

Can I set up Auto Funding?

Yes, once a card has been used for 10 or more transactions in the OddBytes Platform, it will become eligible for Auto Funding. To set up Auto Funding, please see our documentation here.
