Introduction
Two-Factor Authentication is an optional step you can take to secure your Account with two verification points. Once you enable it, a case-sensitive code will be sent to the email address of your choice.
You will automatically be prompted to enable 2FA when you log in. If you do not want to use this option, you can click "Skip for now" after entering your credentials. You can enable 2FA later under General Settings.
How to Enable 2FA
Login Page:
Visit platform.oddbytes.com and enter your login credentials.
Check the box for "Remember me" to avoid repeating this process next time.
Click Login.
You will be prompted to set up 2FA.
Provide the email address that will be used for 2FA.
Click "Send email".
If you do not receive it to the email address provided, click "Resend Code" and a new code will be sent to you.
General Settings:
On the left side navigation bar of your Account, click on 'General Settings' under the 'Settings' section.
Under the 'Users' list, find your specific email/user.
Click the down arrow icon to the left of your user to expand the row.
Within the 'Two-Factor Authentication' section, click 'Activate 2FA'.
Provide the email address that will be used for 2FA.
If you do not receive it to the email address provided, click "Resend Code" and a new code will be sent to you.
Next time you log in, a case-sensitive code will be sent to the email address provided.
Check the box for "Remember me" to avoid repeating this process next time.
How to Reset 2FA
Visit platform.oddbytes.com and enter your login credentials.
Check the box for "Remember me" to avoid repeating this process next time.
Click Login.
Click 'Request 2FA reset'.
Enter the last known email address on file.
Click 'Request Reset'.
Our Team will review your request.
If approved, you will receive an email notification confirming the reset.
Go back to platform.oddbytes.com and log in.
You can either provide a new email address for 2FA, or skip this step.
How to Disable 2FA
On the left side navigation bar of your Account, click on 'General Settings' under the 'Settings' section.
Under the 'Users' list, find your specific email/user.
Click the down arrow icon to the left of your user to expand the row.
Within the 'Two-Factor Authentication' section, click 'Disable 2FA'.
