Why can't I add funds to my account?

If you are experiencing problems with adding funds to your account, please see the below instructions for the next steps you can take.

OddBytes is dedicated to providing the most secure online payment methods possible. We’ve recently added an extra layer of security for Visa, MasterCard and American Express payments, which protects you from unauthorized use of your credit card. The 3D Secure technology consists of the programs Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.

What you'll need to do?

Depending on your credit card type, you will need to:

  • Enroll or log into the Verified by Visa service if you are using VISA credit card;

  • Enroll or log into MasterCard SecureCode service if you are using MasterCard credit card;

  • Enroll or log into American Express SafeKey service if you are using American Express credit card.

How does it work?

  1. Enter your billing and credit card information in the OddBytes platform's "Add Funds" Wizard.

  2. The system will check if your card is already enrolled in 3D secure.

  3. If enrollment can be confirmed, you will be shown a page where you can enter your security code (password). Your financial institution will authenticate the transaction within seconds, and the transaction will be posted to your OddBytes account. If the password cannot be authenticated, your transaction will be declined.

  4. If your card is not currently enrolled with 3D secure, we will verify if your bank supports this service.

  5. If your bank does support 3D secure, an enrollment screen will be presented to you. You will need to complete the enrollment process to be able to activate this service. Upon successful enrollment, your transaction will be approved.

  6. On the slight chance that your bank does not support 3D secure yet, you may have to contact your bank via telephone.

How do I activate this service?

The easiest way to activate this service would be to contact or visit the website of your credit card issuing bank. The majority of card issuing banks will have online resources to guide you through the process. Additionally, you can also visit the below resources:
